Spring Showcase

All students who take dance and musical theater classes at Oconee Youth School of Performance participate in the annual Spring Showcase. Due to the number of students at the school, classes are divided into three casts (A, B & C), each of which performs in two of the four shows that are presented. Dance and Musical Theater Company members may have additional performances.

We are pleased to announce that the 2008 Spring Showcase will be May 9-11 at the state-of-the-art, 2,000-seat Classic Center Theater in downtown Athens. OYSP performed their first spring showcase at the Classic Center in the spring of 2007 and by popular demand, we are keeping that venue for future spring showcases.

2008 Spring Showcase performances:

7 p.m. Friday, May 9
3:30 and 7 p.m. Saturday, May 10
3:30 p.m. Sunday, May 11

Tickets are $18 for adults, $15 for students/seniors and $12 for kids 12 and under.
They will be on sale in the lobby of the Classic Center Theatre a half hour before each show.
